Moscow’s Top 5 Exhibitions to visit next week

The multimedia exhibition “Orthodox Russia. My history: 20th Century” has opened at Manege, just steps from Red Square. The compelling history of the nation unfolds through more than 3,000 interactive pages.The historical complex opens its doors to visitors for free until the last day of the exhibition on November 22!


The animation exhibition “Watch Me Move” from London will open in  Moscow on November 18. About 150 exhibits of world animation will be on display.All types of animation will be presented at VDNKh (pavilion 15), including sand, silhouette and pixel animation, rotoscoping, stop-motion and shadow play, as well as chronophotography, animated comics, sketches, storyboards and character models, old cameras and film projectors.


The “100 years of fashion in Russia: 1915-2015” exhibition  has opened  at VDNKh. It is a large-scale retrospective that features select artifacts from the museum-quality collection of costumes, textiles, accessories and notable garments, which clearly demonstrates the main fashion trends of  that time.


“The Great Modernists. Revolution in the Arts”  show in the ARTPLAY Design Center presents the works of the greatest modernism painters, such as Paul Gauguin, Vincent Van Gogh, Henri Rousseau, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Gustav Klimt, Paul Signac, Edvard Munch, Amedeo Modigliani, Wassily Kandinsky, and Kazimir Malevich.The exhibition will be open until January 22 2016 (updated!)


For the first time the “Vietnam Expo” exhibition has opened in Moscow.  The festival takes place in the “Hanoi -Moscow” complex with tens of sections and a special Christmas market. More than 160 companies participate in the event. Rice, coffee, pepper, dried fruits and seafood as  Vietnam’s most exported products are available for purchase.
